Perks of Being A Wallflower Movie Review

                Another great book written by the great author, Stephen Chbosky, "PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER."

                I just watched this movie yesterday since I first read the book last last lifetime. It's just I had a hard time finding a great copy for this amazing movie. I want to tell you some points that I note regarding on how I understand it in books and how it is shown in the movie.

            1. Ezra Miller, who plays the role of Patrick, Sam's stepbrother is gayer in the movie than in the book. Actually, the same as Charlie, who is the protagonist in this movie. In the book, Patrick is the one who handles his relationship with Brad, as a man. Then in the movie, their actions, their words, is just not right in the movie. 

            2. Mary Elizabeth, an important role of this book. She's the one that leads Charlie in his true feelings. I find Mary hotter in the book than in the movie. Seriously, Alice is hotter than Mary in the movie which is not true. Well, it's okay. She did a great job in his role as well as her Rocky Horror Show.

            3. EMMA WATSON IS SUPER HOT.

            Well, all in all. This movie got my two thumbs up, not because it starred Emma Watson, partly it is, but it has an amazing plot. It just shows how everyone has their own respective place in this world. A place where you can be comfortable with, a place where you belong. A place where you can find the people that you'll remember and cherish for the rest of your life. And another thing, it is not bad to be a wallflower. Actually, they're smarter than the attention-seeker people. But as a wallflower, you have to make a step forward, so that you can progress in any aspect in your life. You can't expect to people to like you when you always take a step forward and take two steps backward. You just have to be yourself and let life work itself. Life has crazy ways of working. 

AMALAYER

                 AMALAYER? AMALAYER? Kahit saan ka tumingin na social network ay makikita mo iyang mga katagang iyan. Maraming gumagaya kahit saan ka pumunta pero ano na nga kaya ang nararamdaman ng babaing nagsabi nito? 

               Isang nag-ngangalang Paula Jamie Salvosa ang nagpasikat ng mga katagang iyan. Hindi naman niya intensiyon na sumikat yung mga binitawan niyang salita pero tayong mga Pilipino kasi eh, lahat napapansin. Lahat ng mga mali na hindi dapat pansinin, pinapansin. Pero saludo din ako sa ating mga Pilipino, ang lalawak ng imagination. Balik na ako sa kwento, binitawan niya ang mga salitang iyan sa isang Lady Guard sa LRT Station. Sinita lang naman daw siya ng Guard kasi mali ang dinaanan niya na dapat ay dadaan sa metal detector. At doon na nagsimula ang lahat. May isang mabuti tayong kababayan na imbis na magsumbong sa security personnel ng LRT station ay nakuha pa itong videohan, (May bago na naman tayong Youtube sensation). Hay, mga Pilipino.

               Pero isipin natin, ano na kaya ang nararamdaman niya. Syempre, hindi rin naman tama na pagalitan niya yung Guard kasi ginagawa lang nito yung trabaho. Syempre, hindi natin alam yung buong kwento kaya huwag muna manghusga. Pero naman sana, hindi na gumawa pa ng ganoong eksena si AMALAYER girl. Naka-uniform pa man din siya, paano na yung unibersidad niya? Kalma lang kasi dapat kaibigan. Marami tayong makikilalang tao sa mundo, yung iba gusto natin, yung iba ayaw. Pero parte na ng buhay yan, kapag ayaw mo, layuan mo. Move on. Don't waste your time thinking about how to humiliate them. Lesson learned. Huwag mag-uniform kapag may gagawing masama at maging alerto sa mga nangyayari sa paligid, videohan agad at i-upload sa social networks para may bagong pag-piyestahan tayong mga Pilipino.

Shit. Sinungaling.

           Ganoon ba kadaling magsinungaling? Parang lahat ng tao naman kase sa mundong ibabaw, nagsisinungaling. Nagsisinungaling para sa iba. Nagsisinungaling sa iba. Nagsisinungaling sa sarili. Tama, nagsisinungaling sa sarili. Mahirap bang intindihin? Shit. Ang tanga mo lang na sa sobrang sinungaling mo, pati sarili mo, pinupuno mo na din ng mga bagay na hindi totoo. O baka naman pinipiit mo lang huwag tanggapin yung katotohanan kasi alam mong mali yung ginawa mo. Alam mong may nasaktan ka. Kaya sinasabi mo sa sarili mo, pati na rin sa iba na wala kang kasalanan. Nakakainis lang na madami kang naaapektuhan. Nakakainis na yung mga walang kinalaman na tao, dinadamay mo. Lahat sila, nagiging masama sa tingin ng ibang tao dahil sa mga pinagsasabi mo na hindi totoo. Mga pinagsasabi mo na ikaw lang ang may alam. Ikaw lang ang may alam sa sarili mong katarantaduhan. Seriously, normal ka bang tao? 

                    Hindi naman maiiwasang magsinungaling eh. Huwag lang masyado, pati tuloy sa itsura mo, wala nang naniniwala. Dadating ang araw kapag nasa panganib ka at humihingi ka ng tulong, walang pupunta sa'yo. Kasi lahat na ng tao hindi naniniwala at wala ng tiwaa sa'yo.

Mga Galanteng Kaibigan

            August 19, 2012. Maraming salamat kay PNoy dahil kung hindi dahil sa kanya, hindi ito matutuloy.

        Punung-puno ng tawanan, asaran, at kwentuhan ang lakad naming magkakaibigan ngayong araw na 'to. Masaya kasi kahit sampu lang kami, namely, Yhncesz, Cha, Wilma, Joyce, Marijo, Eder, Migs, Joel at Deff,  nagenjoy kami ng sobra. Hanep!

           Maraming salamat kay Yhncesz, na nanlibre sa Mang Inasal. Na kung hindi mo pa pipilitin, ay hindi pa papayag. Na kailangan pa talagang kunsensyahin para lang ilibre ka. Eh, nagbirthday naman siya. Hindi man lang naisip yon. Pero salamat ng marami. Isa kang tunay na kaibigan. Pagkatapos kumain ng apat na rice sa Mang Inasal, kahit na nakalima si Marijo, ay naisipang manood ng movie. Gustong panoodin ng mga babae, The Reunion. Gusto ng mga lalaki, The Expendables. Mas madami ang lalaki kaya pinanood namin sina Stallone. Pagkatapos panoodin ang ka-astigan ni Chuck Norris at ang isang anggulo palagi ng mukha ni Maggie, ay hindi na namin alam kung saan pupunta.

            Naglakad ng naglakad hanggang mapunta na sa Starbucks. Heto na, Starbucks. "Paano ba bumili doon?" "Hindi ko alam kung paano umorder eh". Naghintay muna kami bago kami umorder kasi baka may manlibre. Unfortunately, wala. Eh di, bumili kami. Ayon, nagsimula na ang walang humpay na kwentuhan. Mga nangyari nung highschool. Mga naganap na hindi na nagsawang pakinggan kahit na paulit-ulit pinaguusapan. Mga teacher, mga kaklase, mga kalokohan. Masaya din na hanggang ngayon, naaalala pa din namin yung pinaggagawa namin nung high school. Kaso, yung puro kalokohan na lamang. Nung napansin namin na naglolokhan na lang kami, umalis na kami. Sumakay sa bus at hanggang sa bus ay kantyawan pa din. Masayang masaya. Lofty. Fulfilled.

                 Mas masaya sana kung nakasama yung iba. Pero madami pa namang time. Madami pang oras. Madami pang pagkakataon. Sana mangyari ulit. Mangyayari to ulit.

MVP

               Yesterday wass a great day. A win for Rain or Shine and The Leo's Awards. Rookie of the Year, Mythical Team, Defensive Players. But what we all waited for was the announcement of this season's MVP. Nominees includes James Yap (BMEG), Arwind Santos (Petron), Gary David (Powerade) and Mark Caguioa (Brgy. Ginebra). It was thrilling to wait for this huge announcement. Everyone hold on their seats as they waited to hear the results.

                As many of the fans expected, including me, PARTLY, the guy-with-many-different-hairstyles-every-season won. Mark Caguioa is this season's MVP. Many of his fans celebrate, obviously. They want this for their idol for the very long time.

               But, for me, I have to go with David. David should won the MVP award. We all knew that David did an excellent job this season. His points is always on top. Yes, Mark also has his points top of the board. He's always aggressive. Jump shots, 3-point plays, under the basket point. He just improved more this time. He never disappoint his team. He's skillful, quick and professional.  He owned it.

               No hard feelings for Caguioa's fans, but that's what I have thought. But I'm not saying that Caguioa doesn't deserve this award. He has athleticism in every game he played. He's wise and really work his way inside the court. Surely, I'm a fan of his. I admire his dedication every game. When he puts everything when he play. He can do anything, he can. But I think that David did better in this season. 

Just saying. Don't hate me. :)

Peculiar, strange feeling.

         Yung pakiramdam mo na sobrang guilty ka dun sa ginawa mo. Yung sinasabi mo ngayon na sana hindi mo na lang iyon ginawa. Natatakot ka sa pwedeng mangyari. Natatakot ka sa mga pwedeng kahinatnan ng ginawa mo. Natatakot ka na baka mas malaki pa ang ganti ng buhay sayo. Mahirap. Mahirap ialis sa isipan. Mahirap kalimutan. Mahirap alisin ang takot na nararamdaman. Siguro, kung ano na lang ang mangyari, panindigan na lang. Gumawa ka ng desisyon dati kaya harapin mo ang bawat pinatunguhan ng ginawa mo. Kung wala mang mangyari, baguhin na lang ang sarili. Baguhin ng naaayon sa tama. Baguhin nang wala nang nadadamay na iba. Baguhin ang lahat ng dahilan kung bakit mo nararamdaman and nararamdaman mo ngayon.

Saludo ako sa'yo!

          May mga taong kayang tumindig sa sarili nilang mga paa. Mga tao na kayang itindig ang sarili nila kahit na may pasan pang iba. Mga taong kahit walang aalalay ay kayang tumindig ng diretso. Kayang tumindig ng tuwid. Kaya saludo ako sa mga taong ganiyan. Wala pa man sa edad na dapat ay bumubuhay at nagaasikaso na sa kanyang pamilya ay nagagawa na ito. Isinasantabi ang mga bagay na kailangan o gusto nila para sa ikabubuti at ikaliligaya ng kanilang pamilya. Mahirap mamuhay nang ikaw ang inaasahan. Na ikaw iyong pinagkatiwalaan sa lahat ng bagay. Na ikaw ang responsable sa lahat ng pwedeng mangyari sa buhay niyo. Na ikaw ang sisisihin kapag may nangyaring masama. Na ikaw ang gumagawa ng lahat.

          Hindi din maiiwasan na magsakripisyo para sa ginagampanang mabigat na tungkulin. Kulang sa tulog. Kulang sa oras. Kulang sa pahinga. Kulang sa mga bagay na dapat ay nagagawa nila. Sa murang edad ay natuto na sila kung ano ang mga bagay na uunahin nila, mga prayoridad sa buhay. 

     Kaya ang masasabi ko lang, saludo ako sa iyo, Kaibigan!

Wow! Sensitive.

             Malakas lang ba ang ulan sa mga panahong ito kaya bumaha o di kaya naman ay sumabay na rin ang mga luha ng mga taong sensitive?

 Hmm. Sensitive. Magandang bagay o hindi? Maaaring oo, maaaring hindi. Pero sa palagay ko, isang malaking OO. Sensitive ka dahil saan? Madali kang masaktan kahit na walang katuturan naman yang pinaghuhugutan mo. Madali ka lang gumawa ng konklusyon sa sarili mo. Ginagawa mo yan kasi pakiramdam mo, wala ka nang nagawang tama. Pakiramdam mo, buong mundo galit sayo. Pakiramdam mo, lahat ng tao, tingin sayo ay hindi kawalan. Pinapalaki mo lahat ng maliliit ng problema. Pinapatagal mo yung mga problema. Nagtatanim ka ng sama ng loob kaya kapag napuno ka, ano na? Bigla ka na lang sasabog. 

                 Payo lang. Ang problema, hindi yan pinapatagal. Mas lalong hindi yan pinapalaki. May mga taong ayaw magkaroon ng malaking problema. Pero ikaw na sensitive, maliit na problema, mas gusto mong palakihin. Anong problema mo? Isipin mo yang mabuti. Hindi nagiging mabuti sa isang tao ang pagiging sensitive. Mas maganda kung balansihin mo muna yung sitwasyon bago ka gumawa ng konklusyon. Paano na lang kung galit ka na pala sa isang tao, tapos hindi niya alam na may nagawa pala siya kahit na yung nagawa niya ang parang kagat lang ng langgam at maaaring tapusin sa pamamagitan ng simpleng pagkamot. Mas masaya ang buhay ng walang problema, walang kaaway at walang sama ng loob kung kanino man. Live life to the fullest, as happy as possible, as meaningful as possible, as worthwhile as possible.

                Nadala lang ng emosyon. Pasensiya mga kaibigan. 

Slam Dunk. Veterans vs RSJ.

                 "KG Canaleta, a 5-Time Champion in Slam Dunk Competition."

                  The most waited event in PBA All Star is the Slam Dunk Challenge. It's the most exciting yet most difficult event in PBA All Star. Five players were competing in this event; Elmer Espiritu of Air21, JC Intal of BMEG, Gabe Norwood of Rain or Shine, Arwind Santos of Petron and KG Canaleta of Brgy. Ginebra. They're given two rounds to show their dunks in the elimination round. The players who get the three highest score move to the finals round. In the finals, the rule is the same. Two rounds and a winner will be pick. Five judges are scoring from 5-10, 5 being the lowest and the like.

                   In the first round of elimination round, Norwood impressed the judges by his dunk as well as Canaleta giving them both perfect 50 scores. In second round, again, Norwood got perfect score while Canaleta and Intal tied in 90 giving them the 2nd and 3rd spot. In final round, KG Canaleta proved that he is a 4-time champion in this event and tried to jump over a man under the ring which he did successfully. And in his second round, he jumped over three men including Bolts' Asi Taulava, although he hit Asi's head. JC Intal also impressed the judges by his 360 dunk. Norwood fell short in spite of a great start in the elimination round. With his experience, talent and creativity, KG Canaleta won his fifth championship in the Slam Dunk Challenge and has the pride of being 5-Time Champion in this event.

                     Main event: Veterans vs RSJ (Rookie-Sophomore-Junior). Veterans took over the RSJ players of the PBA. On the first half, the Veterans were really dominating the RSJ. They showed that they had more experienced that the young ones. They showed that the RSJ need more practice and prepare more before they face them. It continued in the second half. James Yap, Gary David, Arwind Santos, what more can you wish for a dream team. Until the end, Veterans dominated with the score of 176 defeating 144. In RSJ, standout, Dylan Ababou got 44 points and in Veterans, James Yap, also scoring 44 points.   They beat the record of Samboy Lim that was 42 points. Also, Gary David got triple double. PBA All Star MVP is James Yap.

                   PBA All Star 2012 ends. We can all see that all the players enjoyed as well as their fans. It's PBA All Star is about. Giving back the love that the fans gave to them, for supporting them. It's an amazing experience to see the players team with each other, to play with the legends of PBA and to socialize with their fans. We can say that this All Star was a great success!

                 Next conference will start in May 20, 2012. Another conference will start and another war between the teams will also begin.

Obstacle, 3-Point Shootout, Greats vs Stalwarts.

            In the first three events of the PBAAll Star 2012 in Laoag, the players gave us all excitement as well as we were overwhelmed. 

            First, is the Obstacle Challenge. Players who have the speed, the ability to pass well and to move well inside the court is playing in this event. There were dribbling station, lay-ups, passing and the hardest, and most of the players took some time, is the 3-point shot. Jonas Villanueva, is the defending champion for this event. Many of the players of this event today showed well. LA Tenorio of Aces and Paul Lee of Elasto Painters as well as the defending champion made it to the final round. All the three of them had problem in the 3-point shot as I have said. LA played well, but it's not enough to beat the defending champ's time of 31.1 seconds. Lee, having the shortest time in the elimination round came short in the final round with 31.3 seconds. Still undefeated, Jonas Villanueva gain respect as he got his 3rd consecutive championship and be a back-to-back-to-back champion. 

              Next event is the 3-point Shootout. This All-Star, is a tight game. All of the players is fired up every time they're hitting the 3-point area. Five racks, each containing five balls, one is worth two points. Mark Macapagal of Bolts is the defending champion for this event. When he was interviewed, he said that he was pressured to win this championship as Jonas win his. In the elimination round, Nino Canaleta of Ginkings fired up the basket with 19 points. Josh Urbiztondo of Llamados, Marcio Lassiter of Boosters and the defending champ, Mark, tied up with 16 points each. So, instead of Top 3, it became Top 4. Josh and Nino, tied up. Marcio messed up and Mark Macapagal proved that he was the defending champion. He remained being the defending champion for 3-point Shootout, and became a back-to-back-to-back champion, the same as Jonas.     

                  Everyone is waiting for this game. Greats vs Stalwarts, where legends came back. Patrimonio, Caidic, Lastimosa, Coach Ato, Duremdes, Abarrientos, Olsen, and Coach Leo proved that age doesn't matter. This game was fun and all of us enjoyed the running of those legends. Even if, there are times that when the phase of game is fast, some legends were left at the end of the court. 3-Point shots, lay-ups, jumpshots. It was all made in this legendary game. It was a high-scoring ball game. At the end of the game, the Greats topped the scoreboard with the score of 143-139.

                   All in all, this day was very successful. Next event we will wait is the awaited Slam Dunk Challenge and the "Veterans Vs RSJ" game. All of us will expect a great game and we will be overwhelmed of how the players played so well to give their fans their only wish, to see their favorite players have fun as well as to inspire them on how far they've come. 

SPURS WILL WIN THIS CHAMPIONSHIP!

             San Antonio Spurs slayed Utah Jazz in their series in the NBA Playoffs. They made it 4-0. Ever since, it's my team. Parker, Manu, Duncan, etc. They're underdogs, dark horse. They don't have so much fans, particularly loud fans, like Miami or Lakers have, but they're doing their own thing. They played hard every time they stepped in the court and fight like it's always a WAR. I just admire this team. 

            Now, they're waiting for the next team that they will face. Memphis and Clippers are brawling with each otherfor the spot. Well, what can we expect? We expect that whoever Spurs will face, they will give the game that we expect from them or much more. I just can't wait to see Spurs holding that championship trophy and gaining all the respect that they deserved.

               GO SPURS GO! Let's do this!

PBA All Star Weekend 2012

          PBA All Star Weekend will start today, May 10, up to Sunday, May 13 and will be held in Laoag. Unlike NBA All Star, in this event, there will be a game between the Veterans and RSJ (Rookie-Sophomore-Junior). Aside from this game, there will be various events that some PBA players will participate. There will be Obstacle Challenge, 3-Point Shootout, Slam Dunk Challenge, etc. I'm sure that all of the players will enjoy it as well as the fans. If you can't go to Laoag, AKTV will air this event.

         Just enjoy this annually event and may the best All Star win! c:

BMEG is the champion for the Comissioner's Cup!

        This was the craziest game in this series. Not because it's a do-or-die game, but because both teams played superb in the court. They played harder that we could ever imagine. We know that this series is a physical one, but we didn't know that it will be a dramatic one. 

        The game is full of surprises. We can never said who will win. There were times that the lead is with BMEG, and times that it's with TNT. So, we can never can tell. In the fourth quarter went all the excitement. In the last 20 seconds in the ball game, BMEG's import, Bowles got a foul from TNT. Then, it's in his hand to tie the game and send it to overtime. Not surprise, with Bowles really doing good in the 15-foot line, he shoot the two baskets. Then comes OT. Bowles, still unstoppa-BOWLES, continued to score and led the BMEG team. He just proves that he's the Best Import. He shoots well with the jumper and in the lay-ups. He just do his thing.

            Well, I'm a TNT fan, and hoping for TNT to win. Some people is not convinced on the last foul given to Bowles that led to OT. But, they work their asses off. Jimmy gave all he can to bring his team to another championship. Kudos to this team, my team.

             BMEG work this game up, and won. Congratulations.

          These two teams gave the best with all their might. Whoever wins, deserves it. All in all, they put a great show. And that's PBA is what for. To inspire their fans. Well, the fans are the true winners in this ball game. All of us had fun and looking forward to the next conference to begin. And a new war will start again.

Talk 'N Text extended the game to Game 7!

                Well, my team did it again. They extend the game to a do or die game in Sunday against BMEG. They won in a score of 92-82. In the first quarter and early in the second quarter, BMEG topped the scoreboard. But in the latter quarters, TNT did a stellar job. Ranidel stepped it up in this game. Well, he must. He is a big factor for TNT. Reyes did a great job also, with his steals. Three points, that's TNT's strengths. Almost all of them can shoot the basket in this area. What do we expect in Game 7? Well, a thrilling, bloody game. 

                   Let's watch the game on AKTV in Sunday, May 6 at 6:30. We all expect a good game and TNT win. ☺

Be strong. Fight.

           It's nice to see people smile in spite of many hardships that they encounter along their life. It's nice how they fight, fiercely, and how they backed up to these problems. Well, it is necessary. Some people, actually, many people, give up easily when they were encountering problems. They thought that God punished them and he doesn't deserved to be encountering these hardships in their life. They're just complaining and worse, they questioning and blaming God why He was doing it to them. They don't see the essences of problems, hardships and hindrances in life. Well, for me, it's hard to accept in yourself, that in fact, all these hardships that you're encountering is given to learn you lessons. It's hard to accept that your loved ones died to give you lessons that you didn't have in life. Maybe, we thought, that it must not be like that. But for me, if there's nothing going wrong or worst in our lives, we will never make difference. We will just go with it. Just go with the flow of your life even if you know that you must deserve a meaningful life more than this. You will just wait there and see if something will happen in your life. It's part of God's plan to make us better person. To make us these person that He wants us to be. We need to strive harder in life. You know that you deserved something or someone better. You know that you can be a better person. Yo know that you can be a blessing to others. You know that you can do something good in your life. Something good that could affect your living as well as the lives of other people around you. Just don't give up. Don't let this problems back you down. You're bigger than your problems. Don't let it control you, you control it. 

              There are so many things in life that you'll focused more than these bullsh*t problems. Just let it go. Be a better person, fight for what you think is right, bring all the happiness that you can bring in your life and be strong. It's life. We know that life is a journey, not a destination. What matters is what happens along the way. What differences you make to yourself and to other people. What good you bring to them. There are people there, having more difficulty in their lives as you have, then you can appreciate more what you have. Be optimistic. Look at the brighter perspective. Everything has a way, if you want to. If everything falls apart, talk to God. He knows everything. From your smallest mole up to your deepest secrets. He will help you. He will guide you. He will let you live the best way you can.

PBA Finals (Game 4)

            Wow. This game was full of drama and a very physical one having the biggest attendance this season with 18, 696 viewers. (from AKTV on IBC 13 twitter account) TNT and BMEG were in each others peak. They played hard every time and they played harder this game. In the first quarter, the game was close ending the quarter with only a point led by TNT. But in the remaining three quarters, the TNT prevailed. They got easy layups and many opportunities in the 15-foot line. Early in the fourth quarter, BMEG is catching up but every time they shoot the basket, TNT had an answer to it. So they never got close to TNT. There were also several calls foe technical fouls in this game. But in the latter fourth quarter came all the drama. Upset, Joe Devance threw the ball in Pamboy Raymundo's face. By this action, Pamboy answered by slapping Joe's nape. This led for the referees to call Flagrant foul Penalty 2. Well, I thought that it's too much for the referee to call this foul Flagrant. There's not much power in the actions of two players. It should have been only a technical foul. Well, we can't argue with the referee so the two players and each other coaches accept it (just because the don't have choice, in my opinion). After that incident, another drama came in. With the ball possession in BMEG and still trailing TNT, Coach Tim Cone of BMEG suddenly fell down. With the rewind of the game, we saw that as JC Intal is dribbling the ball, going sideways into their bench, the referee avoided to crash with him. And with this avoidance of Intal's play, the referee crashed with Coach Tim and he fell down. This brought shock to everybody. BMEG players in the bench immeditely helped their coach to bring him in his feet. And I thought, with this embarassing moment and his disappointment in the game, he immediately walked outside the court without even waiting the game to finished. I thought that the referee made it worse. Giving this embarassment in Coach Tim, he didn't even helped him to get up. What a pathetic referee. This was too much drama for this game. Well, TNT having a lead by 15, won this game. 

           What do we expect in the Game 5. Well, the Devance-Raymundo brawl and the war going on between these two very physical teams. Game 5 will be a war, a bloody one. With the series tied at 2, each teams must step up each others game to gain advantage with the other one.

Facebook.

               Uso na talaga ang mga social networking sa panahon ngayon. Madami na ang nahuhumaling sa Facebook, Twitter o di kaya nama'y sa Tumblr. Parang hindi ka "in" kung wala kang account sa mga social sites na ganito. Subalit ang nangunguna par rin sa lahat ng ito ay ang Facebook. Oo nga, at nagagamit ang Facebook bilang komunikasyon sa mga taong matagal mo ng hindi nakikita, pero hindi dapat dito umiikot ang buhay natin. Mas alam pa ng Facebook ang buhay natin kaysa sa mga magulang natin eh. Araw araw, paggising sa umaga, hindi ka pa nag-aalmusal o naghihilamos ay bubuksan mo na ang desktop mo at titingnan kung may mga notifications kang bago. Kung may makita ka naman, halos isa lang sa bawat sampu mong notifications ang hinihintay mo. Yung iba, puro requests na lang sa games na ni minsan hindi mo naman nilaro. Titingnan kung may nag-invite sa'yo as friends. Kapag mayroon, todo accept agad kahit hindi kakilala, basta ika madami siyang friends, at kung wala naman, better luck next time. Palitan mo na daw ang DP (display picture) mo. Isa pa sa mga tinitingnan ng mga taong gumagamit ng Facebook ay ang status ng mga kaibigan nila (kilala daw, kahit hindi naman). Makikita mo, simula paghikab hanggang pag-utot, nilalagay nila as Facebook status nila. Pakialam ba ng ibang tao diyan sa mga pinaggagawa mo. Kailangan lahat ng ginagawa mo, alam nila. Mag-artista ka na lang kung gusto mong public figure ka. Yung iba naman, makapag-parinig sa mga kaaway nila status nila. Tapos diyan, diyan nagsisimula yung mga away. Magkakampihan ang magkakampi, bakit hindi na lang kayo manood ng PBA, doon kayo magkampihan. Nationalistic pa ang dating niyo. 

              Malaki na nga ang naging impluwensiya ng Facebook dito sa buhay natin. Halos wala na tayong panahon para sa mas importanteng bagay. Mas matagal pa ang oras na pagbababad sa Facebook habang tinitingnan ang mga pictures ng mga sari-sariling crush pero yung assignment na ipapasa na bukas, hindi pa din magawa. Hay, Facebook. Malupit ka talaga. Ikaw na!

Summer na naman.

          Summer na naman. Madami na namang tao ang mabububuro sa kani-kanilang bahay partikular na ang mga estudyante. Madaming taong nagrereklamo sa init ng panahon, kasabay nito ang pag-init ng kani-kanilang mga ulo dahil sa walang laman ang bulsa tuwing sasapit ang summer. Madaming gusto nang matapos ito dahil hindi din naman makaalis ng bahay pero mayroon din namang gusto itong magtagal sa kadahilanang hindi pa nila nalilibot ang buong bansa. May sari-sariling gawain ang bawat tao ngayong summer na naman. Ikaw na lang ang bahala kung paano mo susulitin ang mga araw na ito lalo na sa mga estudyante. Estudyante. Marami sa kanila ang gustong mag-outing kasama ang mga kaibigan nila ngunit dahil nga walang pera, pahirapan pa. Plano nang plano, hanggang plano lang. Walang nangyayari. Sa tagal ng pagpaplano, pasukan na ulit bago nagkasundo at hindi na matutuloy dahil magsisipasok na ulit ang lahat. Hay summer.

         Mayroon akong napanood na video sa Youtube. Nakakatuwang isipin na sa murang edad ng mga batang ito, may nagagawa silang video na katulad nito. Dito ipinapakita ang mga hinaing kapag summer, kapag mainit, kapag wala kang magawa sa sobrang init ng panahon. 

            Kaya huwag na mainit ang ulo. Huwag sabayan si Haring Araw sa paginit. Aba, talo kayo diyan. I-enjoy na lang ang summer dahil minsan lang yan dumating. Minsan lang magpaabot ng init ng pagmamahal niya si Haring Araw kaya bayaan na natin. Kapag nagtampo yan, sige. Wala na tayong masusuot na damit at wala na ding daing at danggit.
